This year has taught me one essential thing above all: I no longer want to produce more, but to produce better .
In practical terms, this means: – fewer impulse buys – designs that are carefully considered beforehand, tested, worn, and adjusted – fabrics chosen for their durability, softness, and quality – and clearly stated, agreed-upon deadlines, allowing for a calm working environment
In 2025, I also made the choice to slow down certain paces, to refuse orders when the schedule was full, and to preserve some break time . Not for comfort, but because it's the only way to continue creating with pleasure and high standards.
In a broader, sometimes unclear and unstable context, I felt it even more strongly the importance of craftsmanship. Creating objects designed to last, repairable, useful on a daily basis, far removed from overconsumption and fleeting trends, has become central to my way of working.
A bag, a pencil case, a vest… these are objects that we keep, that we wear often, that it is sometimes passed on. And that changes everything in the way I conceive of them.
